Challenges

Regardless of their global success, the company faced certain challenges that impacted their clients and end users. One of the most significant challenges they encountered was the equipment calibration that was heavily manual, requiring intensive technical knowledge on spread pattern testing and conveyor flow rate calculations.

End users found it challenging to configure optimal settings due to lack of intuitive interface that could streamline the calibration process. Additionally, absence of real-time diagnostic tools made troubleshooting software issues more challenging, taking days or weeks to get resolved.

Technical support team lacked visibility into real-time usage due to lack of direct integration with backend system leading to delayed response and extended downtime. Moreover, the unavailability of mobile friendly solutions further aggravated the issues forcing users to rely on manual tools and calculators that reduce efficiency.

Thus, the client needed a digital solution that could streamline their calibration, offer quick access to troubleshooting resources and integrate them seamlessly into their existing business processes.

The company approached Softweb Solution to redevelop their existing mobile application. To make it user friendly and resilient we integrated Salesforce at backend. Our team of mobile app development experts designed a strategy with the goal to improve app’s capability while enhancing agility, inclusivity and proficiency. The mobile app was developed using react native development services, ensuring high-performance, cross-functional compatibility, and native-like experience.

We also implemented Firebase Analytics for user tracking, Firebase Crashlytics for real-time crash reporting, and SQLite for local data storage, ensuring offline functionality. The entire development was managed using GitHub for version control, and coding was executed through VS Code, Xcode for iOS, and Android Studio for Android.
