Considering the requirements of the client we decided to use a flexible open source platform for reviving their website to give it a better look and to incorporate some new functionality.

Being the most original forces in contemporary dance, the company wanted to integrate their performance videos on the Home page of the website. As one of the only professional dance companies to perform year-round, Hubbard Street is continually touring nationwide and internationally thus, creating a strong need to highlight their performances on their website.

They also wanted us to incorporate the functionality that allows visitors to book ticket of the performances online – from the website. There would be a precise booking system which will give details about the training sessions and shows with the online booking facility.

After analyzing the requirements thoroughly and using the deep knowledge of the latest industry trends, we redeveloped the website using LAMP technology to enhance the overall features and appearance. We developed navigation which is incredible and extremely creative and user-friendly.

We integrated the best video streaming server RED5 for displaying the most attractive video on the website. RED5 is a flash server for open sources and it is written in JAVA language supporting video and audio streaming. RED5 functions similar to Adobe FMS (Flash Media Server).

We have integrated Tessitura – a desktop based ticketing software, with the help of our partners Klearsky for facilitating clients and visitors to book tickets of the performances from the website itself.

The whole glimpse of the website after its re-development is very attractive and it will get the visitors all over again to the website. Visitors and clients can also subscribe now with Hubbard Street Dance to get regular updates about the performances and much more. The designs for the website are done by our Design partner KlearSky.
