The client wanted us to design the website as a truly functional online gallery and a store which would provide a unique market opportunity for artists, which is rarely found on the internet. Along with other general features, we also had to develop a function where the customers can design their own calendars from various creations and order them as well. The client was also seeking for the features where the customers can get print of the creations in variety of printing mediums.
We had to create a separate section on the site which facilitates the customers to select and order the frames for an art piece to suit their own needs and likings. There was a need to have a separate section for printer and framers on the site, to let them offer their services from it.
We decided to deliver a comprehensive HAE gallery that would provide buyers an added level of confidence in buying art works online and a unique online buying experience.
Business Solution:
We created a comprehensive platform for the artists - especially painters and digital artists - across the world to sell and market their art. Artists can register to the site by paying for an appropriate package and then they can exhibit and sell their artworks on the platform. The site enables the artists to select their custom layout of their specific section and place their creations there. The site login has three variations where users can log in themselves categorizing in suitable group- customers, painters or framers. The algorithm is set such a way that the customers will have to pay minimum shipping fee.
The gallery developed by us facilitates the customers to select their choice of variations of the art works and get them printed. After selecting the artworks, if the customer opts for getting it printed and framed from the site, the system would automatically assign the nearest printer and/or framer for the task. Thus, the system will help customers to browse the categories, select their choice of art works and order them with frame as per their needs and likings.
