Softweb Solutions successfully developed a desktop application for a leading Transportation and Logistics Provider from US
Chicago, Illinois - July 2008 - Softweb Solutions, a leading company for offshore software development and IT services announced that it has efficiently development a desktop application for a Global Transportation and Logistics Provider from Chicago, US.
The desktop application serves as a Reporting Tool to the Container Tracking System that the company already possessed. The Container Tracking System is a software that would keep all the details of the containers unloaded at any port by the company. The Reporting Tool created by Softweb connects with the client's database and provides the container's detailed data like the container id number, its delivery or pickup date, etc. to the user. The Reporting Tool also has a search functionality that facilitates the user to search for a container in the database through the port name, container name or number, etc. Softweb Solutions developed the system using Framework 2.0 and MSSQL 2005.
