BACKGROUND

The company ShortSaleWeb works with real estate market and gives the opportunities to the short sale estates. When the property owner is unable to repay the loans and foreclosure seems the result, short sale can be a better option. Short sale may be the solution to foreclosure that can protect a person's credit.

For the expansion, the company wanted to develop a web portal where the property owners, lenders, buyers, real estate professionals can join to one another and get benefit becoming members of shortsaleweb.com. Via this portal, the property owners who want to short sale their properties and the buyers who are interested in buying the property, both can get their needs fulfilled.

The client asked for following facilities in his web portal that enable buyers and property owners to get maximum benefit out of it:

  • User Registration with secure user name and password
  • User accounts for three types of users
  • Unlimited numbers of property listings
  • Unlimited property images per listing
  • Online Auction for the property
  • Tracking of Auction and Bids on the auction
  • Google map Integration

 
CHALLENGE:

The client wanted an inclusive portal that can be easy to use for both users and administrative section.

  • There was a need to incorporate the contact seller inquiry message that goes directly to the admin and gets routed to the sellers e-mail from the admin.
  • Even providing an online Auction and bidding for the real time transaction was a challenge for us.

The client wanted a directory database that is controlled by admin with certain categories of people or individuals who are involved in short sale transactions.


SOLUTIONS:

Softweb has provided following solutions for all the challenges working round the clock with dedication:

  • High end transaction processing on the backend in the SQL server database.
  • Programming in a way that the system can automatically handle the redirection of the mails, which again is configurable from the Admin side.
  • A directory database containing different groups of people that are knotted in the short sale transaction either as a buyer or lender or owners.
