BACKGROUND
The client Intelex is a London based Fully-Microwavable Heat Packs and Soft Toys manufacturer who has commercialized a new and innovative way to relieve everyday aches and pains. Founded in London, Intelex brought the first ever fully microwavable herbal heat pack to be sold in Europe. The client had a legacy shopping cart which they wanted to redevelop to deliver better user experience enhancing the way of business and thus enable the ecommerce drive through their website.

To reengineer the shopping cart, Intelex selected Softweb Solutions and discussed about their requirements. Understanding the requirements of the client, we decided to build a customized Magento based shopping cart that serves all the needs of the client and helps them exhibiting their products in the best possible way. With a wide range of products, Intelex had unique set of requirements that asked for customized development.
They wanted us to create a separate trade area for the trade users who can buy the products at wholesale rates from there. The client was also in need of creating a custom shipping module that manages the shipping, considering the product quantity.
Being a technology solutions provider, we accommodated all the client requirements in our solution and delivered a highly advanced shopping cart. We created a separate trade area for the trade users who can see and buy the products at wholesale rates from there and get benefits of quantitative purchase.
As required, we also delivered a custom shipping module that displays the rates depending upon the quantity of the products. We delivered a complete portal with a banner manager for home page where the client can manage the banners of the home page.
