BACKGROUND

As a luxury while they drive, drivers need the knowledge of signals that are red light cameras, cop hiding or even radar detection. Our client came up with a fresh idea to give the facility to circumvent these needs of the drivers wherever they go. Cobra Electronic Corporation is one of the leading mobile communications products designers in the world. The company has grown by leaps and bounds and continues to develop new product categories for their clients. Cobra selected us to convert their idea into reality by developing a mobile application for iPhone and Android that would allow drivers to use radar/laser detection technology. They also wanted us to include Bluetooth connection with the custom radar device so that the users could view radar alerts, control settings, log history, and be warned of upcoming speed and red-light cameras.

 
CHALLENGE:

There was great zeal among our developers to create a feature rich application for one of the leading designers of mobile communications products. We needed to create an application that enables the drivers to view speed and red light camera alerts along with all radar and laser alerts using their smartphone’s wide screen. We provided the facility to integrate Bluetooth connection with the custom radar device which would help drivers view alerts and be warned of upcoming speed and red-light cameras. The custom radar device was needed to be specially approved by Apple to be integrated with the iPhone app.
