BACKGROUND

When it comes to counting payroll, the sum of all financial records of salaries for an employee, wages, bonuses and deductions, it becomes very time consuming for an organization. But a comprehensive payroll management software system can make the work easier.

Our client offers Polaris Payroll Management Software to its customers which manages the complete payroll process, but they wished to make major enhancements in their existing payroll software, so they selected Softweb Solutions for the job. Softweb was expected to resolve the problem of performance and develop new modules that would increase the functionality of the software. They wanted software that would not only meet today's needs but also future trends in the industry and the ability to offer better solutions than any other payroll software.

CHALLENGE:

We had to work toward enhancing the software to improve its overall performance. We also needed to develop new modules for different features that would offer inclusive experience to its users. The client wanted to make their software comprehensive to help increase efficiency, market share, revenue, and retention of an organization.

We had to design various components of the software to efficiently handle all the aspects of a payroll services bureau business. The main challenge we faced was to develop feature-rich modules and integrate them with the software. We had to develop a reporting system that would help users create, deploy, and manage reports for the organization.


SOLUTIONS:

Using various effective technologies, Softweb delivered a powerful Payroll Management Software system to the client. To create amazing new reporting tools, we integrated a third-party party tool, NELCO forms, which offers the best forms and formats to users. Moreover, the built-in Sales Force Automation process makes it easy for the sales force to keep track of all prospects, monitor the activity level and sales stage, and create proposals.

Using SQL Server Reporting Services, we offered a platform that provides comprehensive reporting functionality for a variety of data sources. It also facilitates tools to create, deploy, manage, and deliver reports.

In all, we delivered easy to use software with extended functionality and new modules that can meet the needs of each and every client.
