BACKGROUND

Valenti, LLC, is a well-known advertising agency located in the USA. The main aim of the organization is to create work, whether it is through advertising, designs or ideas that change perceptions, supporting sales, improving business, or touching emotions. The client wanted Softweb Solutions to create an engaging application for cycling enthusiasts which would have exciting features, like the ability to flip through great cycling photos, from road cycling to mountain biking--in other words, photographs of people who love cycling and want to share photographs with their friends through email. In short, the client wanted an application which would enable users to view interesting photographs of the cycling world at the touch of a fingertip.

CHALLENGE:

We knew that it would be challenging to create an engaging application for one of the leading advertising agencies in the USA. Valenti, LLC, wanted us to develop this application for iPad devices, and they also wanted a feature through which users could view a slideshow of the images for specific cycling events. The application had to be visually appealing and attractive so that users would have a great experience while scrolling through the cycling pictures.

SOLUTIONS:

We knew it would be a daunting task, but after extensive and meticulous research, we developed a visually exciting picture application for avid cycling enthusiasts. With this application, users can see pictures of their favorite cycling professionals and can add pictures to their "favorites" list. The images in the application come from various sources, such as Reuters, PicApp, sponsors' assets, and the Veloist community. Users can join this free cycling community and share blogs, pictures, videos, and adventures with cycling aficionados around the globe. New images are uploaded three times a week which gives users the advantage of frequently viewing new pictures of their favorite cycling professionals. The application also has a built-in sponsor's logo. When it is selected, users are directed to the sponsor's site within "The Veloist" application.

RESULTS:

  • We developed a captivating picture application for avid cycling enthusiasts.
  • This application offers avid cycling fans the opportunity to participate in active discussions with their favorite professionals.
  • We developed an iPad attuned application to showcase its flexibility.
