BACKGROUND

P5audio is a sample sounds and music loops company that offers most famous, latest and hottest music track for the music lovers on its portal. The company works with the aim of providing you the sounds you might need to create platinum sounding music. It had a wish to create a comprehensive CMS eCommece portal that contains all types of music loops and sample sound tracks. It has a collection of quality sounds which has been used by reputed producers and artistes also. As the client has more than 30,000 music loops and sample sounds, he wanted to have a dynamic CMS portal that can promote all the music loops as per their genres. The purpose behind is to give ease to the customers to find and purchase whatever they are looking for.

Considering the needs of the client, we have decided to harness the power of Zen Cart, renowned open source shopping cart software.

 
CHALLENGE:

  • The main need of the client was paradigm categorization of music loops and sound tracks. As he has a vast collection of all, we had to develop a portal providing the facility of categories and sub-categories. But this type of facility is not available in Zen Cart. And that has become biggest challenge for us.
  • As we were developing eCommerce shopping cart, the client wanted to develop a Single Page Shopping Cart Process. Generally the shopping cart process is very lengthy and tiresome and so we decided to make it just of one page using our splendor.
  • Last but not the least we needed to make the whole portal SEO friendly. With the increase of web marketing, the SEO practices for any web site have become an integral part of the business. And so we had to take extra care while developing it.


SOLUTIONS:

  • For facilitating the client with categorization, we set 3 new attributes and prepared the whole left navigation bar, where now the visitors can find plenty of music in perfect categorization. We have created CMS for all categories separately that enables the administrator to add and delete and edit the loops and tracks.
  • For making shopping cart process shorter we developed Single Page Shopping Cart Process that wraps up whole process on the same page only and makes it lesser tedious. We developed it in a way that covers coupon code, shipping and payment method and so the buyer does not have to move to the next pages for completing the process.
  • We indeed had to take lot of care for making the portal search engine friendly. We created separate CMS for URL rewriting, alt tags, H1 tags, Meta tags and banners for making them easy to manage from Backend.


RESULTS:

Using Zen Cart we have built an eCommerce Shopping Cart which is dynamic, attractive, user friendly and search engine friendly. The perfect and attractive categorization of thousands of loops and sound tracks makes it easy for the visitors to purchase any kind of music and/or music software as per their choice.

We have developed the portal covering all the different facets and so it also gives chance to the company to provide tips on how-to prepare music and videos using different types of software. By utilizing our skills of AJAX, we have developed a fascinating home page banner that would magnetize the visitors in first their glance. This portal will increase the brand value and sale of the client widening horizon for them.
